Andy Harvie

Andy formed TPG in February 2012 after spending more than 18 years in the retail and leisure sector running building & facilities departments for blue chip organisations that provide a full range of building surveying and FM services.

Andy has been a Chartered Building Surveyor since 1996 and more recently, Andy’s broad range of experience has found him providing solutions to clients with complex multi-site property requirements in the areas of refurbishment and maintenance as well as providing professional services for clients in the areas of dilapidations and party wall matters. Andy has particular expertise in the maintenance and refurbishment of existing buildings and additionally in health & safety and facilities management compliance and often advises clients regarding their duties and obligations.

Key Skills/Experience:

  • Retained surveyor for party wall and dilapidations matters by a number of leading retail and leisure organisations in the UK
  • Project Manager for the multi-million pound, phased delivery of the head office relocation of over 400 staff from 3 different sites in to one new 55,000 sq ft office development in Cardiff city centre
  • Retained CDM Coordinator/Principal Designer for European meat producer overseeing the pre-construction health & safety matters for multi-million investment and refurbishment projects in the UK
  • Director/Lead co-ordinator for the facilities management of a complex multi-site retail estate across the UK including overseeing a multi-million capital and revenue spend

  • University of Salford Bsc (Hons) Building Surveying
  • RICS Associate Member since 1996 (No. 0099927)
  • British Safety Council Diploma in Safety Management 1999 (No. 5029)
  • Advanced Professional Award in Expert Witness Evidence 2015.
