TPG’s in-house health and safety experts are able to advise clients on the CDM regulations and other health and safety compliance matters. The main set of regulations that set out the health, safety and welfare for construction, maintenance and refurbishment projects changed in 2015. The Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM2015) apply to all construction projects, maintenance & refurbishment projects, minor works of repair and some specialist cleaning (ie using high pressure water).
Prior to 2015 TPG provided CDM Co-ordinator services and since the introduction of the CDM2015 we are providing clients with the service of Principal Designer whereby we will plan, manage and monitor the pre-construction phase and coordinate matters relating to health and safety. Where a client has works planned that involves more than one contractor then both a Principal Designer and Principal Contractor must be appointed by the client and TPG are able to assist and advise clients on their duties and responsibilities
