We undertake all types of building surveys including condition surveys, pre-acquisition building surveys, dilapidations surveys, fire compartmentation surveys, surveys prior to refurbishment works to identify development works required and we also undertake bespoke surveys to identify the root cause of building defects, reporting on the remedial works required.
In most cases a full inspection of the property is undertaken and this may include specialist roof access equipment (Cherry Picker or Drone) for our surveyor to inspect the roof.
We inspect all types of commercial property for investment or occupational purposes and also inspect larger and more complex residential properties. We are able to co-ordinate the services of other professional or specialist consultants (ie environmental or M&E) to ensure the production of comprehensive reports. Our reports can be tailored for receipt by specific individuals including solicitors to append to a new lease or licence. We are regularly asked to provide recommendations for remedial work including costings and can make arrangements for works to be undertaken. We also provide advice on any resulting repairing liability issues or other liabilities under design or construction warranties.
